Once we had finished cutting the clips on movie maker we the loaded the clip onto final cut, at first we found final cut quite challenging, but after a while we were able to get used to the software. We decided that the trailer was still far to long so we had to cut more clips even shorter, this took quite a long time to do as we wanted the clips to flow efficiently, once we had done this we saved the trailer onto final cut and we will now begin to add transitions, effects, sound and text to our trailer.
We will now need to think of transitions that we could add to make our trailer look more professional, we looked at possible transitions such as fade to white and fade to black which we thought would be suited to the trailer when we introduce the title or production company. It took us a while to get used to the software and in the next lesson we could not access final cut, so we began to use Adobe Premier Pro instead, we found that this was very similar to final cut and began to edit the trailer by cutting the clips shorter and looking at different transitions.
